Credentials must be picked up at the Media Check-in which will operate at the location and according to the timetables below:

• Period of operation: from July 25 to August 3

Location: Hotel Epic Sana Marquês (the entrance should be made by Rua Actor Tasso n.º 1 1050-002 Lisboa) - location here
Opening hours: from 9h30 to 21h00

• Period of operation: from August 4th to 6th

Location: Fundação JMJ Lisboa 2023, Rua do Grilo 84 1950-142 Lisboa - location here
Opening hours: August 4th and 5th, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm / August 6th, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm

*We ask you to pick up your credentials as early as July 25 to avoid concentrations in the last days and the consequent waiting times.

Note: You will only be able to pick up your credential if your accreditation is validated. You can check the status of your accreditation in your reserved area on the registration platform.

Note: To gain access to the space it is mandatory the use the Media credential.

Opening days and hours

From July 28th to July 30th: from 9am until 9pm
From July 31st to August 6th: from 7am until 2am (next day)
August 7th: from 8am until 4pm

Facilities

- Working areas with Wi Fi and cable internet connection;
- Food sales area;
- Distribution points for water and coffee;
- Access to host video (SDI and HDMI) and audio (XLR) signal;
- Access to documents, photos and video recordings on shared folder;
- Distribution of official documents/speeches/communications, in the five WYD official languages in a dedicated area in the Press Centers;
- Simultaneous translation of press conferences in the five official languages of WYD;
- Video and audio access to all WYD main events in the five official WYD languages.

Booking of workspaces

In the main Media Center there are three interview booths and another two radio studio booths.

These spaces cab be booked by sending an e-mail to press@lisboa2023.org indicating, in the subject, “Reserva de espaço, ao cuidado de Mariana Craveiro” (Booking a space, to the attention of Mariana Craveiro).

Press Conferences and briefings

From July 31st until August 7th, there will be a daily press conference about the WYD, with the following schedules*:

July 31st; August 1st; August 3rd; August 4th; August 5th: 12:30pm
August 2nd: 1:15pm
August 6th: 7pm
August 7th: 11am

*These schedules may change at the last minute.

From July 31st until August 4th, briefings will be held on broader topics, the schedule of which will be announced soon.

The accreditation process began on May 31st and ended on July 11th. Due to the time required for data verification, requests submitted after this date might not be processed. Members of the press who wish to attend WYD Lisbon 2023 should submit their requests for an official WYD press credential at this link.

Influencers and mangers of Catholic social media networks who wish to participate in WYD Lisbon 2023 should register as a "Pilgrim" in the registration platform to have access to the Pilgrim Packages.
