WYD Lisbon 2023 Hymn now has a Vietnamese version
The official hymn of WYD Lisbon 2023, “There’s a Hurry in the Air”, now has a new Vietnamese version, created by the young people of the Diocese of Saigon, Vietnam. The translation of the hymn was developed throughout this year, with the collaboration of 52 young people from organizations and Parishes in the region.
Besides the young people who translated it, the Vietnamese version, “His Love Thoi Thuc Ta”, also had the collaboration and help of several translation professionals.
With this initiative, it is expected that “young people are encouraged to continue their commitment to serve their neighbor and accompany the local Church, following Mary’s example”, being this also a “baggage full of national identity to participate in World Youth Day Lisbon 2023”, said the Diocese of Saigon in news published on its website.
