Sociological survey of WYD participants
GAD3, a social research and communications consultancy, has proposed to the organization of the World Youth Day (WYD) Lisbon 2023 to carry out a sociological study of the participants of the largest meeting of young people from all over the world with the Pope.
This is an initiative that was born with the realization of WYD Madrid 2011 and has been replicated in WYD Krakow 2016 and WYD Panama 2019. This survey will allow us to get to know the pilgrims and volunteers who will get up from their couches and set out to discover this encounter with young people from all over the world and with the Pope. The questionnaire deals with different aspects, such as the motivation for participation in WYD Lisbon 2023, the country of origin, the number of days of their stay in Portugal, among other indicators.
