As has been the norm for all editions of World Youth Day (WYD), WYD Lisbon 2023 is making the Pilgrim's Guide and Prayer’s Book available today, on the eve of the largest gathering of young people from all over the world with the Pope, but, this time, in an online version.

These two documents gather all the information that young pilgrims need during their stay in Portugal and for a better experience of WYD Lisbon 2023.

The Pilgrim's Guide is divided into three main chapters: WYD Lisbon 2023, Program and Infopack. The prayer’s book is intended to guide pilgrims spiritually throughout the days of World Youth Day (WYD) Lisbon 2023, proposing numerous challenges for deepening faith.

In this way, all those registered in WYD Lisbon 2023 as pilgrims, volunteers, clergy or media, can download here the pilgrim's book and the prayer’s guide, and for more information, they can access the Lisbon 2023 App.

World Youth Day (WYD) Lisbon 2023 is based on the pillars of Pope Francis' encyclical Laudato Si', which refer to the care of the Common Home. Thus, reinforcing the commitment to sustainability, one of the measures this year was to make the Prayer’s Book and the Pilgrim's Guide available in online format, which in previous editions of World Youth Day was printed.
