Preparing the WYD Lisbon 2023 with Click To Pray and Passo a Rezar
The first suggestions for praying are going to be available during the month of November.
The digital platforms Click to Pray and Passo-a-Rezar suggest, from this month of November on, a set of monthly prayers to prepare the World Youth Day Lisbon 2023.
Thinking about the young people from all over the world, the Portuguese team of the platform Click To Pray is going to prepare the suggestions of morning and afternoon praying on the 23rd of each month. These reflections are inspired on the reflections and speeches of Pope Francis to the youngest, throughout his pontificate, and translated to all the languages of the platform Click To Pray: Portuguese, Spanish, French, English, Italian, German, Chinese, Vietnamese and Japanese.
On the first Saturdays of each month, Passo-a-Rezar (available in Portuguese) will release a prayer that is also an invitation for all the young people to participate in the spirit of the WYD and to get involved on the path of preparation until 2023. The reflections are suggested by the organization of the World Youth Day and read by Portuguese young people. This partnership will begin this Saturday, 7th November.
The preparation of the World Youth Day Lisbon 2023 on Click To Pray and on Passo-a-Rezar are the result of a partnership between the Local Organizational Committee of the WYD Lisbon 2023 and the Pope’s worldwide prayer network, that manages the platforms Click To Pray (the official app for praying of Pope Francis) and Passo-a-Rezar (that suggests some daily guidelines for praying through social media).
The suggestions of prayer are released through the communication channels of WYD Lisbon 2023 social media and the Pope’s worldwide prayer network, on the national (Passo-a-Rezar) and international (Click To Pray) levels.
